Early years, covers your child’s education from Nursery to Pre-school
(ages 25 months - 3)

Nursery

In the Nursery the children will have their first encounter with English.
To make their learning more exciting we use games, songs and activities to familiarise them with the new language. The goal is for them to know the basic vocabulary and understand simple questions and tasks. The day starts with an assembly every morning where we go through the topic of the day by singing songs, reading stories and showing pictures.

During the week the children participate in different laboratories which are Art, Music, Movement and Cooking. Each laboratory will benefit the children in its own way and will be linked to the programm we are doing in class. Another important part of the day is the free play. We love spending our time outside in our beautiful garden riding bikes or playing in the sandpit and on colder days we take advantage of all the things our classroom has to offer.

Pre-school

In Pre-school this year we are committed to providing an environment which will give your children rich and stimulating experiences. We intend to provide a structure that; provides for the different learning points from which children develop their learning, and build on what they can already do; in assembly we will be singing songs, doing actions, introducing new vocabulary, showing pictures and through storytelling.
Through didactical activities the children will be improving their fine motor skills; during structural games they will be experiencing actvities through sight and movement. The children will explore, experiment, plan and begin to make decisions for themselves. Our activities will inlcude cooking, Art Lab, music, movement and Italian.
