Comunication with parents

Mid-term report

This takes place in December and gives parents an indication of their child’s learning and interaction to date.
End of year report – this takes place in June and includes a written document to be given to the parents assessing the child’s progress in all subject areas.

Class representatives

This year we would like to ask all parents in each class to elect two class representatives. If the parents of a class would like to discuss something collectively, the representative can book an appointment with the School Director to discuss it.

Once a month coffee morning

Once a month, the school director will host an informal coffee morning open to all parents. This will be an opportunity to discuss general issues regarding the school.
From 9.00am, Friday in the gym/music room.

Concerns, complaints and compliments

We are very willing to deal with simple matters at the beginning or end of the day. If the issue is likely to take more than a few moments, please make an appointment with the School Director or class teacher.
For any collective class concerns, the class reps should fill out a meeting request form to ask for an appointment with the school director. See appendix.
On the very rare occasion that we can’t sort out issues within a meeting, there is a Complaints Procedure which the School Director will share with you.
If you are pleased about something the school is doing, make sure you let us know.
If you have any ideas for making the school a better place for your children we want to hear about it!
