English
The school has a policy of speaking English. Parents are asked to discuss matters with the teacher in English
where possible. If a translator is needed, please give a request in to the office.
All information given will be written in English. Check daily homework diaries and folders.

After school clubs
Casa della Ghianda has a policy of no child left behind. If children need extra support, class teachers may
suggest that their children participate in homework support clubs. Monday-Thursday 16.30-17.30.
Cost of 10 Euros per child, per hour.
Homework
The school has a policy of giving homework. Each classroom teacher will explain to parents the amount and
frequency given. Homework is given in order for parents to support their child at home and to support the
school/home relationship. Parents are expected to supervise their child during homework sessions.
